Massage therapy is the manual manipulation of soft body tissue (muscles, connective tissue, tendons and ligaments) to enhance a person’s health, address injuries, increase flexibility, and make corrective structural changes. Our therapists use many different modality applications that are specifically designed for each client. Some of the modalities offered are myofascial release, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, clinical sports massage, table Thai massage, craniosacral therapy, biodynamic cranial touch, lymphatic drainage, and pregnancy massage.
Acupuncture is based on Traditional Chinese Medicine, which improves the body’s physiological function and promotes the natural self-healing process. Traditional Acupuncture uses small, microfilament needles that are gently inserted into the tissue to build, calm, stimulate, rebalance, or sedate certain “points”. Acupuncture points reflect areas in the body that relate to health patterns which facilitate change, injury recovery, and overall wellness.
Functional Nutrition is an individualized science and testing based approach that encourages clients and practitioners to work together to discover underlying causes of imbalance and health concerns. We spend focused time with our clients and listen to their concerns, questions, and history while looking at the interactions among genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors. All of these considerations influence long-term health and complex chronic disease. In this way, functional nutrition supports the health and vitality of each individual.
At LifeThyme Wellness we believe that you should have the best long-lasting treatment possible. Our practitioners use a variety of services including massage therapy, acupuncture and nutrition. Our treatments are individualized and we start by listening to you:
